Winter Electric with Geeta and Hemalayaa

Eat Dance Breathe

eat-dance-breatheHer latest collaboration with yogini Hemalayaa (hemalayaa.com), were 2 sold out workshops named "Eat Dance Breathe". Lighthouse yoga studio was filled with men and women who came together to learn how to use food as medicine, dancing, breathwork and voicework for emotional release and vibrant health.

4.26, 4:30–7:00pm: shifting mood through medicinal food and movement
4.27, 1:00–3:30pm: detoxification of busy living; breath, dance, and clean food

Food as Medicine Classes

These innovative classes are held in Hewn bakery several times a year. Chef Ellen King, owner of the bakery, is a trained chef with extensive experience in sustainable organic farming. Dr Geeta discusses nutrition, food history and techniques to preserve nutritional value, while Chef Ellen demos several dishes which showcase the plant based diet. They are sought after speakers and have presented the workshop for the community, local schools, at national medical conferences like the National Student Conference on Integrative Medicine and will be at the Chicago Botanic Garden Garden Chef series this autumn.
